Gunny Update!!

Wahooooo!!  What a big Mouth I have!!    (Pic taken by Brandi from Mutt Mugs!)

New things I like:

1. My very own Hill!!  Mom and Dad gave me 1/2 the hillside that was to be landscaped. I think it's because I'm doing such a fine job landscaping it myself.  I dig very big holes to add to the topography!

2. I love hiking at the Flume trail- I still HATE to get wet!!  I won't go in the water!

3. Trotting to the top of my new hill 'Gunther's hill' after getting home from a walk or car ride

and announcing/ barking that I'm home and everyone is welcome to come and visit!

Mom says I don't have a mean bone in my body and wonders if I would really guard the house but we won't let anyone know that I'm a softy. I can look Tough!!

4. I gained weight and now I'm almost 90lbs- 89.6lbs  to be exact but we round up in this household. Mom says that goes for mileage on runs too. She says if she runs 3.6 miles she can just round that up and calls it 4 miles!

5. I must say I like CHICKEN!! I know I say this every blog but I can't emphasize this enough! I don't think I'll ever eat kibble without CHICKEN beautifully blended in!  If Dad and Mom win the lottery, I'm gonna to ask that my share go to buying my own chickens!!

6. Hammocking!!  Mom put a pic on FB and I think laying in the hammock is wonderful!

Lastly, Roo likes Hammocking too!!  It's very enjoyable for us Dogs!!

Photo Shoot Day!!

 Woof, Woof!
Yes!!, today was the Photo shoot day for my Poster.  Brandi came and took my Mug. I was very sleepy and the only thing that woke me up was the delicious bone I'm eating in the pic below!!  People want me to wake up in the middle of my afternoon nap.  Don't they know that I'm nocturnal?!?  If I have to look cute and perky, I'm holding out for the good stuff!! : )   A frozen meat bone!!  SCORE!!!  It's the next best thing to CHICKEN!!    Chicken is still the only Real food that exists!  I like chicken grilled, Rotisserie, steamed, boiled.... I've heard of FRIED Chicken but Mom won't buy it for me, something about cholesterol??.  : /    Look for me in the window of Pet Food Express in the coming months!!  I'll have a goofy grin on my face.


 Oh, I also went to the SPGPC( Sierra Pacific Great Pyr Club) event at Pet Food Express yesterday! The Great Pyr rescue brought a bunch of Cool Pups that need homes and we all hung out in front of the store!! Great fun and Mom forgot to take pics again! : /  I need my own camera. If there was only one that could take pics when I bark ... hmmm I should design one.   I could start my own business called Muttography!!  What a great idea!!!!

I also met Kendall this week! She is super nice and can come over any time!!  Mom said she graduated from High School yesterday.  That must be a special school on top of a very tall Mountain to be called High School!!  Three Woofs for Kendall " WOOF, WOOF, WOOF!!"  CONGRATS!

My ADD kicking in: I want to go to Napa.......hmmmm maybe We need a Road trip. Mom and Dad have oodles of Wine, I need to see what it's all about. Annnd I bet you can get a great Nap there!!

This is what I do when I'm very bored and mom is busy in the kitchen!
I barked at her and she told me to lay down and not to bark. I was just saying
we should go do something fun... Who doesn't like to have FUN?

I'll post a pic from my Shoot when I'm allowed. Mom says something about getting the copy right before we can use it..... Hey, it's my face I should be able to use it.  Although, I did have to sign a release, actually they wanted Mom's signature even though she offered my paw print.

I gained weight FINALLY!!

Wooooooooof!!  

I gained weight!!  When we went to the vet to get Sasha's meds, Dad weighed me and I am 89.2 lbs, Whooooohoooo!  

Mom and Dad were very excited because they feed me 4 times a day!! They said this schedule won't last forever but I love eating, especially Chicken!!  Mom says she feeds me cuz it gives me the warm puppies and I fall asleep and don't bark at her because I'm bored.  She says I have OCD about needing a walk and an outing everyday.  I don't know what OCD is but Mom says she has it too and understands. So, I get to go on a 1hour walk and one outing everyday!! Why wouldn't you go for a walk and and outing everyday, it's very healthy and invigorating. Again, if you are persistent, the humans will cave.

I'm not sure why mom put this cap on my head, but could she at least give me one that fits??

This is Radar.  Aunt Jenta and Mom really love this guy.   He is still at the rescue and needs a good home.
He is super smart! Donna, from the Rescue, thinks he'd make a great agility dog.   Mom loves his floppy little ears. 

HAVE to include a pic of Sis!! She says this is her with Max at Christmas when Mom put Ribbons around their necks. Max went to the Rainbow bridge but we like to remember him.

And Lastly, I just want everyone to note that I claimed ownership to this hillside long before Dad started landscaping it! I told him I am and will be rearranging the mulch to add a Picasso flair and some artistic impression to his drab landscaping. He's still threatening to fence it off.  I wonder if he knows how strong I can be cuz I could likely knock a wire fence over with hmmmmm.....   one paw!!




I'll end with a Gunther tip of the day: If you don't get what you want Bark, it sometimes works.  If the bark fails, look cute cuz that usually will keep you out of hot water for the Bark, and many times the Humans cave and give in anyways.
